A Night of 007

May 21, 2014

The Fine Arts Hall was transformed into a “Night of 007” for the Annual President’s Dinner, Friday, February 21st.

The theme for the evening centered around the 50th Anniversary of James Bond. Guests were greeted by Dr. and Mrs. Jackson Sasser, Santa Fe’s president and first lady, and “James Bond,” a celebrity impersonator.

After dinner, the Fine Arts students (including choral, band, and dance students) entertained guests by performing theme songs from a variety of James Bond movies.

The new “fly” equipment, provided by a major donation, was introduced by the student dancers. It was easy to forget that the entertainers are community college students and not professionals.
